About This Role

Hey there. I've been recruiting for imaging roles for over a decade, and I'm writing this post myself. We need an MRI Tech to join the team at Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage, AK. It's a part time position.

The Work

You'll be performing MRI exams on patients of all ages under physician direction. This isn't just about pushing buttons; it's about using your professional knowledge to provide care. You'll need advanced technical know how of the equipment and the complexities of different examinations.

A big part of this is working independently. You're expected to handle your responsibilities with minimal supervision, using your own judgment and initiative. You'll also be involved in teaching MRI technology to students and staff when needed.

Every patient's situation is unique, so you have to be able to interpret information in terms of their specific needs and understand the range of treatment required.

What You Need to Bring

  • Graduation from a vocational school program.
  • Your ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT MR). We need that upon hire.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification. If you don't have it yet, you must obtain it within 30 days of starting.

The Schedule & Pay
