About This Role
The Role
A Radiation Therapist position is open at Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM. This is a full time role working day shifts, Monday through Friday. You would not be working evenings or weekends consistently, which leaves your personal time intact.
Your main job is administering radiation treatments exactly as the radiation oncologist prescribes. Precision and patient safety are the two things that matter most here. You will set up treatment rooms, prepare the equipment, and position patients correctly. You will monitor patients during their sessions and report anything unusual to the doctor. You are also responsible for keeping detailed records, double checking prescriptions and treatment plans, and following all quality assurance and safety standards.
What You Need
- An Associate Degree
- Graduation from a JRCERT accredited program in radiation therapy (or an equivalent approved by the accrediting body)
- Certification and registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy
- Licensure by the New Mexico Environment Department's Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Program within 30 days of hire
- You must hold or obtain the NM Radiography Tech (NMRTT) certification

Pay and Compensation
The pay range for this role at Albuquerque, NM is $40.08 to $61.19 per hour. That minimum and maximum are based on experience, training, and internal equity.

Work Schedule
