About This Role
What you'll be doing
You're the one they call when a commercial building's plumbing acts up. Your day is built around service, repair, and installation for businesses in Albuquerque, NM and the nearby towns.
That means figuring out what's wrong under a sink or behind a wall, then fixing it for good. You'll run pipe, install fixtures, and get equipment running smoothly again. Every job site needs to be left cleaner than you found it. And you've got to keep the lines of communication open with customers, contractors, and our team back at the shop.
- Diagnose problems and deliver solutions that last.
- Handle piping, fixture installs, system repairs, and equipment service.
- Your work area stays organized; your standards stay professional.
- Talking with people is part of the job; clear updates are key.
- Accurate paperwork for every service call.
- Safety isn't just a box to check; it's how you operate.
The kind of person we need
A Journeyman license would be great, but it isn't a deal breaker if you don't have one yet. What matters more is what you know how to do.
We'd really like someone who's already cut their teeth on commercial jobs. But if you're a residential plumber who's ready to make the jump to bigger systems, we're open to that conversation too. You've got to be comfortable working on your own out there while still managing all the details.
- A solid background with piping systems, fixtures, and troubleshooting.
- You can look at a problem and figure out the "why" before the "how."
- You're good on your own but know when to ask for backup.
- A valid driver's license is non negotiable.
The good stuff
The pay starts between $30 and $35 an hour. Where you land depends on your experience. On top of that, there are bonuses tied directly to your service quality and productivity.
We set you up right. You get a company truck for your daily routes with a gas card so you're not digging into your pocket. We also give you the tech; phone or tablet; for dispatch calls, diagnostics, and logging your work.
- $30-$35/hr starting wage based on what you bring to the table.
- Performance bonuses that reward your skill and effort.
- A company vehicle and gas card for work use. Health insurance options are available. Dental coverage is also an option. This isn't seasonal work; it's steady year round in Albuquerque, NM. The projects are commercial plumbing systems; complex stuff that keeps things interesting.
