Office Manager
Jeremy Lee here from Jobot. I'm helping a solid, employee owned construction firm find their next Office Manager for the Albuquerque, NM area. This company has been around since 2002, built by a crew of industry pros who care about quality and doing right by their clients. They handle a mix of ground up builds and renovation work across K 12 schools, healthcare facilities, institutional buildings, and commercial projects. It's a place where people actually stay, which says a lot.
Compensation and benefits
The salary range for this role is $100,000 to $160,000 per year. On top of that, you'll get bonus opportunities, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, paid time off, holidays, and a 401(k) with company match.
What you'll be doing day to day
- You'll run the office and handle administrative operations that keep the Albuquerque, NM branch humming.
- Managing daily schedules, coordinating meetings, and keeping the office organized is part of the gig.
- You'll handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Assisting project managers and the team with document control, filing, and data entry is something you'll do regularly.
- Maintaining office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships falls under your watch.
- You'll support the hiring and onboarding process for new office and field staff.
- Processing invoices, expense reports, and basic bookkeeping tasks will cross your desk.
- Keeping company records and confidential files in order is a given.
- You'll also help coordinate company events, team meetings, and any travel arrangements needed.
- Other administrative duties come up, and you'll handle them as they do.
What you need to bring
- At least 3 years of experience in an office management role, preferably in construction or a related field.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Comfortable using project management or construction management software.
- You know how to prioritize tasks and keep things organized without being reminded.
- Discretion with confidential information is non negotiable.
- Good written and verbal communication skills are important here.
- You can work independently and take initiative when things need to get done.
- A high school diploma is required; an associate's or bachelor's degree is a plus.
