Case Manager

Alright, let's talk about this opening. We're a full service regional firm in Florida, and we need another attorney in our Fort Myers office. This isn't a generalist role; you'll be focused on tort and insurance litigation.

What you'd be doing

The work is all litigation, from start to finish. You won't be sitting on the sidelines.

• Drafting pleadings, motions, and responding to discovery requests.
• Evaluating cases and putting together the strategy for how to handle them.
• You're preparing motions and arguing them in court.
• A big part of the job is being present: attending hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• You'll meet with clients directly and handle settlement negotiations.

What you need to bring

We need someone who can step in and contribute without needing to learn the basics of this practice area.

• A J.D. from an accredited law school is non negotiable.
• You must be an active member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
• At least three years of hands on experience with insurance litigation and tort law.
• Your legal writing has to be sharp. We need strong analytical skills here.
• This work demands organization and a real work ethic. Communication with clients and colleagues is key.

The details & what we provide

The pay range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000 per year. The role is based out of our Fort Myers office, but there's some hybrid/remote flexibility in how you structure your week.
