What You'll Do

Manage your own caseload from the very beginning all the way through resolution. That means you're driving each case forward start to finish.
Handle legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs that actually move cases.
Appear in court regularly ; presenting evidence, defending clients, prosecuting defendants in civil litigation.
Conduct depositions of parties and witnesses. Prepare discovery requests and responses. Build case strategies based on what you uncover.
Negotiate settlements. The goal is getting the best possible outcome for every client you represent.
Cultivate real relationships with clients. They need exceptional service and regular updates on their cases. You're the person they trust.
Stay current on personal injury law trends. Ongoing professional development is part of the gig.

What You Need

A J.D. from an accredited law school.
An active license to practice law in South Carolina.
