Patient Services Manager

Aramark Healthcare+ is hiring a Patient Services Manager for the Food & Nutrition Department at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo, located in Albany, NY. This role supports the patient services operation and focuses on developing and executing dining solutions that meet patient and customer needs.

You'll use technical training and interpret government mandated nutritional standards in healthcare to build healthy menu implementation plans. Managing patient feeding, quality assurance, and driving patient satisfaction scores are central to this position.

What you'll do

• Manage patient food service activities while complying with established standards
• Lead patient service staff to ensure meals are properly prepared and delivered to patients
• Conduct rounds on patients and departments
• Oversee the diet office and the service ambassador program
• Record safety and sanitation compliance
• Supervise tray line operation or the room service program

What you need to bring

At least 1 2 years of experience in a food service supervisor or management role is required. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is expected.

Healthcare patient services management experience is preferred. You should have experience managing, motivating, and engaging a large workforce. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs is required. Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills are necessary. Nutrition education or background is preferred, including knowledge of modified diets. SERV Safe Certification is a plus.

Compensation & benefits

The salaried rate for this position ranges from $62,353.20 to $75,000.00 per year. If both numbers are the same, that's what Aramark expects to offer. This estimate reflects our good faith assessment as of this posting.
