This Multi Modality Technologist role is for someone who thrives on variety and technical precision. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures across two or more modalities, following specific protocols for each.
  • Prepare patients by explaining the process, answering questions, and ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Adjust technical factors on the equipment to produce high quality images for radiologist interpretation.
  • Maintain detailed patient records and ensure all imaging is correctly archived in the PACS system.
  • Adhere strictly to radiation safety guidelines and infection control procedures every single shift.

Requirements

  • Current ARRT certification with additional registry in at least one advanced modality (CT or MRI preferred).
  • A minimum of one year of hands on experience operating equipment in a busy hospital or outpatient setting.
  • Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program is required.
  • The job involves standing for long periods, lifting patients with assistance, and working around strong magnetic fields.
  • You need a calm demeanor when dealing with anxious patients and the focus to manage complex scanner software.
